French illustrator and pattern designer Carole Hillman creates charming, colourful artwork inspired by nature, childhood and traditional folk art. Originally from the French Alps, she spent 15 years living in England before returning to France, where she is now based in Lyon. Drawing on her Polish heritage, her whimsical illustrations combine playful characters, animals and decorative patterns with a wonderfully nostalgic, storybook feel.
