Hello! I’m Meg, founder, curator, interiors obsessive, and lover of homes with personality.
Before moving to rural Herefordshire, I worked as an interior designer in London, always chasing warmth and lived-in character. So often, I found homes were missing pieces with meaning — treasures that make a space feel truly your own. It’s something I’ve always cherished in my own home.
That passion for meaningful design started much earlier, in my early twenties, when I worked in travel. I was incredibly lucky to visit South and Central America, India, Algeria and beyond — places where design feels alive. Homes bursting with colour, texture, craftsmanship, pattern and story. Spaces that felt joyful and soulful in a way UK interiors often didn’t at the time, they seemed muted and monotone in comparison.
Those experiences stayed with me. So when I left London for the countryside, surrounded by rolling fields and a quieter pace of life, I finally decided to build something of my own, a curated space for everything I love in interiors: colourful, eclectic, characterful pieces that bring warmth and personality to traditional English homes.
Every item here is chosen with care, inspired by global craft and timeless charm — from vibrant textiles and playful accessories to natural materials and artisan-made treasures. Nothing flat, nothing safe, just joyful pieces that help your home feel uniquely yours.
I named House of Fibi after two of my favourite people, my best friend and my niece, a tribute to the joy they bring to my life. This brand is rooted in that same spirit: playful, heartfelt and full of character, just like my two Phoebes.
Thank you for being here, and for supporting a small independent business built from passion, memories and a love of homes that feel lived-in and loved.
With love,
Meg
